Feels like summer
Thats right. The sun is out and the flowers are blooming. It has been a beautiful last few days in Vancouver, and I have tried to enjoy every minute of it. The other day, I went with a few guys to go visit Margo(Dunno how to spell her full name so i'll shorten it) and Arnold, an elderly couple that goes to our church. We sat with them in the backyard on their sundeck and chatted for an hour or two. As I sat there, I couldn't help but feel so... warm and fuzzy. Yeah.. I know, warm and fuzzy... Chris fuzzy? um, no. However, the cool breeze and the cloudless sky really made me feel content and at peace. Not only was with I talking with such great people, but the world, for once, really felt and appeared beautiful. Arnold and Margo also had wind chimes on their sundeck, so not only did it look beautiful, but it sounded so pleasent as well. They also fed us cookies and drinks, so I felt almost as if I was feeling the love from a really sweet Grandma and Grandpa. Although my actual grandparents are really nice, they didn't really show all that much affection towards others, so experiencing the love from these Margo and Arnold really made me feel nice. Yeah, maybe I'm getting soft... blegh, oh well. But it just goes to show you that when you have a strong church community, it really does start to feel like a family. That's how I feel about it anyways.
