A lot of my friends are working for the summer. Since most of them aren't taking any classes, they'll have 4 full months to kick it into high gear and make some cash. Wish I was doing that... oh well. I'm happy just working part time and taking classes with Allison and Stan. That class, without a doubt, will be a blast.
Got to go for coffee with Kyle Falconer the other day. It was nice to sit down and chat it up with him about the past and other random things. After going to Christine's going away party and talking with Jess, and after sitting down with Kyle for coffee, I've noticed that I've changed a lot. Since the end of High School, It appears that Jess and I have both become much more subdued and mature in a way. This is good I guess, but I'm not as crazy and outgoing as I used to be. Sucks growin up.
Still continuing to teach the pre-school class. I don't think I could ever stop teaching them. They're so cute and lovable. I just want to pinch their cheeks... boy I feel sorry for my future kids... I'll be hugging em 24/7.
Went to see Sin City on Thursday. Artistically it was sound, but overall I wasn't blown away by it. Don't get me wrong, It was very good... but you guys know me. I'm hard to please when it comes to films. I can say this: Sin City was awesome for its action, but I don't recommend taking a girl out to see it. It's definitely... a guy movie.
I have so many movies I have to watch in the next few weeks. I've been trying to get the Motorcycle Diairies and City of God (Just for you Jess :D) but I haven't had the opportunity. Over the break, I've been able to watch a whole load of movies, ranging from Academy Award Winners to crappy 1/2 star horror movies... like "Darkness". That movie actually made me angry... not because I hated some character in the movie, but because I was so angry at myself for wasting two hours of my life to watch it.
BLT is officially being revived. Ben and I had a meeting with pastor Isaac on thursday about where where the group is heading in the near future. I must say it looks very promising and exciting. I look foward to serving in the next few months... I'm certain it'll be great fun. At this point, I seem to be the director/coordinator for the group, which is a true honor. However, it also means lots of work... but thats okay, It's a great way to serve the church. It also allowe me to keep my involvment in theatre alive and active. Theatre is something that is very close to my heart, and it is a true pleasure being able to continue my career in it for the next little while.
Best wishes to everyone in the coming summer.
