I've finally been able to buy myself some nice boxing gloves. I've always wanted the opportunity to work the bag from the comforts of my own home, and the only place I've been able to do that is the Pinetree Community Center... until now. With my brand new punching bag hanging in my room, I'm able to work the bag with the addition of my fancy new gloves. The past few days have been dedicated to combinations, mostly jabs and hooks. However, just today I've actually been able to work on some uppercut combos. I'll continue to develop my skills in the coming weeks.
It's an odd thing... for once in my life I actually feel dedicated to working the bag. Rarely do I have such a passion for something like this, so it's really great to feel obligated to working on it everyday. Each session is about 30-40 minutes, depending on how busy I am. Regardless of how long I work it, the feeling is still great when I'm finished up. What an odd thing eh? Oh well. One thing is certain, I sure punch a hell of a lot harder.

Cheers,
Chris
