The past few weeks I've noticed that I've been really angry... not just at people, but at life overall. I don't think I was too happy the way things were going in my life. To be honest, I don't know why I felt that way, and why it came out in anger. It could have been friends, family, a female, school, or work... I don't know. But for some reason, this past second half of the week has really gotten me back on my feet. For some reason, I'm a lot less angry, and a lot more understanding and content. The anger appears to be gone. Now, there are several reasons for this.
Firstly, on Thursday, I got to hang with Brian and Ivan, who came to visit me at work. That afternoon, we ended up going golfing and shooting some rifles. I really don't know why, but that seemed to lift the anger right out of me. After the rifle shooting, we prompted to watch Evil Dead, which, to my suprise, wasn't that bad. I guess time with the guys involving golfing, shooting guns, and watching gory movies would cure any sort of anger and frustration.
Second, I got to hang with all my closest friends. We went to the Buntzen Lake early in the morning, and actually had a blast. We played cards, relaxed and tanned, went swimming, and ate a whole lot of food. I think I really needed this time with my friends to relax, because honestly I haven't had any time of that sort in weeks. It was really nice to just get away, to enjoy the scenary, my friends, and the good fun. I was unfortunate to get a horribly bad sun burn, but overall it was worth it. The time I had there was exactly what I needed to get all the anger and frustration out of me. Furthermore, my farmer tan and sock tan are gone. I may be hurting for the next few days, but meh, whatever.
Anyways, I'm just glad that I'm back to my old cheery self. Now that school is over, and I did fairly well, I can relax a bit more. The last thing to come is the new computer, which still hasn't arrived yet... damn truckers strike. Oh well. Anyways, here are a few pictures that Karen and Allison and a few strangers took during our time at the beach.
Karen looking like a trucker. I wonder if she's the one that's suppose to bring me my computer motherboard and case... BAH!
It's hard to tell, but Allison isn't actually staring at the camera. She's staring at a big asian family that are reading books on the beach. How cute.
Karen, the horny trucker, is trying to get Allison to come into her van and eat some popsicles and candy bars...
Ivan checking out Brian's ass.
Me checking out Ivan's ass.
Allison and I freezing in the water... actually we're re-inacting the film Jaws.
Brian and I relaxing and dreaming about Billy Zane and Jeff Goldblum.
Brian and... um... yeah... no words can describe this one.
The gang posing like the sexy people that we are... lol, yeah.
One word: sardines.
For once, Karen isn't the sexually frustrated trucker we mistook her for.
Oh, nevermind, she IS the sexually frustrated trucker we expected her to be. Oh yea, and the view at Buntzen lake was beautiful. Just look at the background.
The gang hanging out. We had quite a few mats and towels to relax on, but unfortunately, Ivan didn't bring his own. Thus, my tatami mat was soaked in his back sweat...
The gang hanging out... with Brian feeling more asian than ever.
We took the opportunity to take a new group photo. This one is real nice.
