What's coming up?

Well, the last few months have swung by real fast. I can't believe I'm starting my second year already. The upcoming months should be tougher than usual, now that I'm juggling work, school, driving, teaching, theatre directing, and boxing. I'm also trying to squeeze in time for friends, but it has proven rather difficult.

In regards to work, I'm only there on Monday and Saturday. The past few months have been rough, with a lot of learning, mistakes, and worry, but it has been fun overall. I really enjoy working there. All the money that I'm earning is going to my "Europe trip" fund. With a few of us going overseas next summer, and with the expensive euro dollar, I've got to save every penny.

When it comes to school, I'm taking four courses. History212 (American History), History208 (Latin American History), SA101 (Anthropology), and Geography162 (Canadian Geography). At this point, I'm uncertain of how difficult the courses are going to be, but I hope they aren't that hard.

Driving has become the new focus in my life. Since Brian got his new car, I've had more of a passion to drive.... and to get a new car myself! But with money at a shortage right now, especially with the Europe trip coming up, getting a car in the next few years is highly unlikely. Oh well, looks like I'm stuck with my tiny Toyota.

Theatre directing for BLT has become a lot more stressful than before. We have a small project in September, so that is what I will be working on in regards to church. The Lord has blessed so many in the church with acting skills, if only I could find a way to get them dedicated to serving Him, and to BLT. This issue has been, for many months now, an ongoing struggle. I can only hope.

Helping out in the pre-school class is always fun. We have new helpers with us now, including Jennifer, Helen, and Rosselyn (If I spelled that right...). We have a few more girls now, but still, the boys outnumber the girls by more than a few. But with more helpers, it has become a lot easier to keep them under control.

Boxing is still, and always will be, a passion for me. I try to work out everyday with the bag and some weights for about 30-40 minutes. At this point, all that hard work has paid off. Foot work is getting better, punches stronger and faster, and my body is becoming a lot more lean and muscular than it was several months back. Damn, I guess the fat-club is out of the question now.
