So my time at SFU is almost up. I have 2 more semesters left before I graduate with a History major, Education minor. My, how the time flies. It wasn't too long ago that I was a young 18 year old, fresh out of high school. Looking back at my SFU career, I can't say it has been all that bad. In fact, the time has been almost enjoyable, especially in these last few years.
Anyways, now I turn my head towards the future. I'm excited to be going to Japan to teach for a year, and I now have contacts in Okayama, Bizen, Tokyo, and Kyoto. Any location would be wonderful to teach at.
Although Japan is the plan for after I graduate, I can't help but be intrigued by the idea of going to work in Alberta for a few months. The fact that they are desperate for workers and pay extremely well is enough to get me out of my seat and onto the computer to research this opportunity. If Japan doesn't work out right away, Alberta would be the next best thing. Regardless, I'll definitely be getting away from Vancouver. I need a breath of fresh air.
Things are looking good for me in the very near future. I have a lot of plans for what I want to do, and I certainly am not in any rush to complete PDP.
Reflecting on the past has helped me to see into the future. I can't wait for graduation, because after I do, then the true adventure begins.
Cheers.
